About Us

iotean is an online women's clothing store. We sell four things — dresses, new-in pieces, t-shirts and blouses — and we sell them in the light, airy register they are made for: lace and openwork, soft pleats, sheer layers and a palette that runs through cream, sand, apricot, pale pink and dusty blue.

No brand philosophy and no lifestyle pitch. We try to do the unglamorous part properly instead: state what the fabric is, how it fits, ship when we said we would, and answer our email.

What We Sell

Dresses

Mostly shorter lengths — mini to midi — with a few longer pieces for summer weddings and holidays. Shirt dresses with a lapel and belt, lace-trimmed and openwork designs, satin and layered skirts, printed florals, draped and asymmetric cuts, and tiered silhouettes. Every dress page states the fabric composition, whether it is lined, whether it has stretch, and the measured length in centimetres, because "mini" and "midi" are cut differently by every label.

New In

This is where we put what has just arrived, and it moves fastest — the newest cuts, the newest prints, and the pieces we have only had in one or two sizes per colour. If something in this collection catches your eye, it is worth ordering sooner rather than later; restocks are not guaranteed on every style.

T-Shirts

Fitted and slim-cut tees, not boxy ones: U-necks and square necks, high necks, doll collars and off-shoulder cuts, cropped styles, and pieces finished with lace panels, jacquard, sparkle or a contrast trim. Fabrics include lyocell, cotton blends, fine wool blends and stretch knits, and each page lists the composition and the stretch level so you can tell what you are getting before it arrives.

Blouses

Lace blouses, puff and butterfly sleeves, tie and bow details, V-necks and off-shoulder necklines, ruffled hems, pleated and crinkled fabrics, and sheer layers built to be worn over a camisole. This is the softest, most detailed part of the collection — cream, apricot and blush tones, with 3D floral and openwork lace trims. Because these fabrics are fine, we list the exact composition and lining on every page.

Good to Know Before You Order

  • Sizing. It varies by style and by fabric — a stretch knit and a woven lace blouse in the same size do not fit the same way. Lay an item you already like flat, measure it, and compare it to the size chart on the product page. Between sizes, or unsure about a specific item? Email us your measurements and we will tell you which one we would pick.
  • Lace and openwork snag. Fine lace catches on jewellery, bag hardware, zips and Velcro. It does not mean the garment is faulty, so please take care when dressing.
  • Sheer fabrics. Where a piece is described as sheer or unlined, it is meant to be layered. The product page says whether a camisole is needed.
  • Pleated and crinkled fabrics. These crease in transit and are meant to have a soft, unstructured look. Hang for a day or steam lightly from a distance — do not press them flat with a hot iron.
  • Colour on screen. Displays and lighting shift colour, so a shade may look slightly different in person. We do not alter the colour of our photography.

Orders & Support

  • Delivery: 7–15 days from the date you order, tracked, to most destinations.
  • Payment: Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Returns: 30 days from delivery on unworn items. Return shipping is at your cost unless we got something wrong — then it is ours.
  • Duties and import taxes: the recipient's responsibility, and not included in our prices.
